The Ashland Daily Independent reports KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett sent a “strong recommendation” to all principals, athletic directors and superintendents this morning to shut down basketball, wrestling and spring sports activity between now and August 23. The recommendation is not mandatory, but is being recommended to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
