SEC Presidents discussing 2020 football schedule today

Southeastern Conference presidents are discussing today whether to play a conference only schedule for this season. SI.com reports athletic directors approved the idea in a Wednesday meeting. It’s not known when a decision could come down.

However, The NCAA Board of Governors is scheduled to meet next Tuesday in what could be a momentous event for the 2020–21 athletic season. Officials there could postpone or cancel fall championships, eliminating year-ending championships for sports such as FCS football, volleyball and soccer, or move them to spring.
