Body found in field identified as Clarksville man

Identification has been made on the human remains found Saturday morning in a field near Barkers Mill and Bumpus Mills Road.

Christian County Deputy Coroner Christy Adams says a search of missing person reports and use of dental records was able to help identify the body as 39-year old Jason Littleton of Clarksville.

Cause of death remains undetermined, according to Adams.

The death investigation continues by Kentucky State Police.

As previously reported, Littleton’s body was discovered by a farmer on a tractor who was bush-hogging the field Saturday morning.
