A two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Madisonville injured one of the drivers.
It happened about 3 p.m., according to Madisonville police, who say 29-year old Monica Samuel of Madisonville was southbound on Scott Street and failed to yield the right of way to an eastbound car on Broadway driven by 50-year old Charles Funkhouser of Madisonville.
Their vehicles collided in the intersection and Funkhouser was taken by EMS to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Samuel was not hurt in the crash.
