One of the game’s most respected coaches has died. Former Illinois and New Mexico State coach Lou Henson died last Saturday at age 88 and was buried today in a private family gathering in Champaign, IL. Henson retired in 2005 with a record of 779-413 in 41 years. He had the most wins at Illinois (423) and at New Mexico State (280) and led both schools to the NCAA Final Four.
