KFCA’s Buchanan thinks there will be some sort of 2020 season

The Courier Journal reports Mercer County football coach David Buchanan-president of the Kentucky Football Coaches Association said after meeting with KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett on Friday that he feels there may be a delayed start to the high school football season, but he thinks there will be a season. It’s also worth noting five states: California, Nevada, New Mexico, Virginia and Washington and Washington, D.C., have moved high school football to the spring of 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns.
