No injuries reported in residential fires

No one was injured in two residential fires Monday in Hopkinsville.

Hopkinsville firefighters from two stations were called to a kitchen fire at 200 Denzil Apartment #4 just after 5 p.m., according to Captain Michael Pendleton, who says two adult residents and a cat were temporarily displaced by smoke, fire and water damage.

Firefighters were called to a house in the 300 block of Dawn Drive about 7:15 p.m. and found smoke and fire. No one was injured, but all residents will be displaced by the damage.
