Russellville woman arrested following pursuit

A Russellville woman was arrested Friday following a pursuit in Logan County.

A man called dispatch a few minutes after 3 p.m. and said he witnessed 42-year old Amy Marshall of Russellville pull into his driveway behind his house and rummage through his unlocked car.

Marshall fled when confronted and was located by Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Brent headed south on Morgantown Road.

Police say Marshall failed to stop when the deputy turned on his lights and siren and made a u-turn to head north before quickly turning onto Willow Creek Mennonite Church Road.

She eventually exited the vehicle while it was still moving at a slow rate of speed and was captured and arrested.

Marshall was charged with DUI, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police, possession of an open alcohol container, theft, criminal trespass and failure to maintain insurance.
