A death investigation is underway after human remains were found Saturday morning in a field at the intersection of Bumpus Mills Road and Barkers Mill Road.
A person on a tractor located the body while bush hogging about 8:45 a.m., according to a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy on scene, who says Kentucky State Police is investigating along with the coroner’s office.
The cause of death wasn’t immediately known and it’s unknown how long the body had been in the field.
