A Hopkins County woman was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.
The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office says 51-year old Christy Bowman of St. Charles was eastbound on Nortonville Road when she went off the north side of the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a drainage culvert.
Bowman was flown by PHI Air Medical to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. An eight-month old passenger was not injured.
