An Oak Grove teen was injured in a single-vehicle accident early Monday morning on Pembroke Road.
It happened just before 4 a.m. and the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year old Ricardo Wesley of Oak Grove was headed toward Pembroke in the 7900 block when his car went off the right side of the road for unknown reasons and struck a ditch and driveway before becoming airborne and coming to rest on its roof after tumbling multiple times.
No one was at the vehicle when deputies arrived and investigation determined Wesley called his brother to transport his passenger, 13-year old Larrion Wade of Oak Grove, to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Wesley was not injured in the crash.
Both occupants of the car were wearing their seat belts.
