A Hopkinsville man was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center Saturday following a motorcycle crash on Collins Bridge Road.
According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office report, deputies responded to the area of the 1 mile marker of Collins Bridge Road around 4:20 Saturday for reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Contact was made with the driver, 54-year old Eugene Trumble of Hopkinsville, who told deputies he had been traveling on Collins Bridge Road when his wheels came in contact with a loose patch of gravel.
Trumble lost control of the motorcycle and went off the roadway. He was reportedly transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by an officer on scene for treatment of injuries to his arms and hands. He was wearing a helmet and protective clothing.
