Heat Advisory Sunday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for all of western Kentucky and middle Tennessee Sunday.

It goes from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and the National Weather Service in Paducah says temperatures in the mid-90’s will combine with high humidity to make the heat index close to 105 degrees.

Anyone who must work outdoors should drink plenty of fluids, take frequent breaks in an air-conditioned room or in a shady area, and wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing.

Owners of outdoor pets should be sure they have a fresh supply of water and a shady place to take refuge from the heat.
