The Bowling Green Daily News reports WKU athletics director Todd Stewart is optimistic there will be football this fall. In a video conference Thursday, Stewart said he’s optimistic because WKU’s athletes’ desire to be on campus for workouts, the return of pro sports and increased data available on COVID-19. WKU has lost one game on its schedule as Indiana and all of the Big 10 recently announced they were playing only conference games this season.
