A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after a fall at a construction site Thursday morning.

The worker fell from approximately 15 feet onto a grassy area near the Substation Road bridge construction site, according to Hopkinsville Fire Department and EMS Captain Michael Pendleton, who says the man was alert and conscious when the ambulance arrived.

EMS transported the man to the Hopkinsville-Christian County Airport and Air Evac flew him from there to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
