Cloth mask donations sought for Todd County students

Students who return to in-person instruction next month in Todd County will be required to wear a facial covering to enter their bus or building and the school system is seeking donations of cloth masks to give to those students.

Kelli Templeman is the youth services coordinator for Todd County Middle and Todd Central High School and says the district needs cloth masks in all sizes.

The district has single-use masks to hand out, but Templeman says cloth masks will give students ones they can take home and reuse.

Donations of masks can be dropped off at the Todd County Board of Education in Elkton or you can call or text Templeman at 270-604-7317 to make arrangements to get them to the schools.

She adds that any Todd County student needing school supplies for the new year should contact the school resource youth services center at their school.
