University of Kentucky outside linebacker Jamar “Boogie” Watson and Western Kentucky defensive end DeAngelo Malone are among 90 players who have been named to the Chuck Bednarik Award pre-season watch list. Malone was voted Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year in the 2019 season. The Bednarik Award is presented annually to the nation’s top defensive player.
