CCHD reports 20 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, up to 205 recovered

The Christian County Health Department is reporting 20 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 locally since Saturday.

That’s according to Monday’s update, making it ten cases a day since the last report, which was on Saturday.  That puts Christian County’s overall total at 343—of those, 134 cases are considered active and 205 people have recovered.

Christian County remains at four COVID-19 related deaths.  Breaking the active cases down into age groups, there are 25 in the pediatric age group, 89 in the 22 to 59 years of age grouping, 17 in the older adult category and three in the elderly age group.

The health department provides further information, such as the number of tests given and number of hospitalizations, during Tuesday’s regular update.
