Kentucky gains 277 COVID-19 cases, three more deaths Sunday

Governor Andy Beshear announced 277 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 and three more coronavirus deaths Sunday in Kentucky.

There are now 19,839 total cases in Kentucky and 625 Kentuckians have died from the virus.

Governor Beshear noted in his update that 277 is high for a Sunday when all labs don’t report and that the increase in new cases was significant over the last seven days compared to the previous week.

He says it will take everyone wearing their mask in public and following social distancing and hygiene guidance to keep cases at a manageable level.

Tennessee gained 954 new cases and three more deaths. Montgomery County added 46 cases Sunday, Robertson County confirmed another 24 cases and Stewart County remains at 26 cases.
