The Christian County Health Department issued a second update Friday afternoon, announcing 16 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
That brings the overall total in the pandemic to 313 and 106 of those cases are active. There have been 203 patients who have recovered and Christian County has had four deaths.
Twenty of the active cases are in the pediatric age group, 67 are young adult to middle-age, 17 are older adults and two are 85 or older.
