A Marshall County man was severely injured in a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Graves County.
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says 38-year old Michael Rowland of Benton was southbound on KY 131 when his pickup crossed the northbound lane, went off the roadway and struck two trees.
Rowland had to be extricated from his truck and was flown to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Police say local residents helped move pieces of the interior of the truck off Rowland to help him breathe until emergency crews arrived on scene.
