Ryder Cup golf matches officially postponed

The PGA of America announced the official cancellation of the Ryder Cup matches today. The matches that were to be played at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin September 25-27 will now be held September 21-26 next year. The change was made due to fact fans would not be able to attend due to Covid-19 concerns. The event will also now return to odd number years as it had been in the past. Today’s Ryder Cup postponement until next year also moved the President’s Cup matches back to the dates of September 22-25, 2002 at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC.
