A woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on I-69 in Hopkins County Wednesday.
According to a report from the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the area of the 123 mile marker of I-69 for reports that a vehicle had gone off of the roadway and flipped multiple times. Investigation determined a vehicle operated by 39-year old Katrina Mullins of Hanson was heading south on I-69 when she lost control of the vehicle and it went off the roadway.
The vehicle reportedly flipped multiple times after colliding with an earth embankment. Mullins was declared deceased by the Hopkins County Coroner’s Office.
