Report: Redskins minority owners trying to sell their part of team

Multiple reports indicate the three minority owners of the Washington Redskins are seeking to sell their portion of the team. Prominent businessmen Robert Rothman, Dwight Schar and Frederick W. Smith, who combined own about 40% of the team, have hired an investment banking firm to undergo a search for possible buyers, according to The Washington Post. Sources say the three are “not happy being a partner” with owner Daniel Snyder, who is under pressure to change the team’s nickname.
