This week could begin a ripple effect with what happens with the college sports landscape for the 2020 season. The Athletic reports the Ivy League will meet Wednesday and decide what they will do with fall sports. Multiple football coaches in the league say they expect fall sports-including football-to move to the spring of 2021.
Meanwhile, SEC Network personality Paul Finebaum tells the Lexington Herald Leader he’s not confident there will be a 2020 college football season. Finebaum says he thinks the “invisible deadline” to cancel the season will be moved back as long as possible.
