Christian Co. gains 5 confirmed cases, Trigg Co. adds three more of COVID-19

The Christian County Health Department is reporting five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Thursday to Friday.

That’s according to Friday’s update, which shows that five cases bringing the overall total to 262—of that, 93 cases are considered ‘active’ and 165 people have recovered. Breaking it into age groups there are 18 in the pediatric age group, 69 in the young adult to middle aged grouping, six in the older adult category and none in the elderly age group. Christian County has seen four COVID-19 related deaths.

Meanwhile, Trigg County gained three more confirmed cases of COVID-19. The Tennessee Department of Health is reporting another record day there, gaining 1,822 cases, bringing their total up to 48,712—Tennessee saw 13 more deaths, putting that total at 633 in the Volunteer state.
