University of Kentucky women’s head basketball coach Matthew Mitchell is recovering from brain surgery after complications from a March concussion. Kentucky Sports Radio said the surgery took place after blood was discovered on the brain. Mitchell has a 281-and-125 record in 13 seasons at Kentucky.
