Fox Sports has officially exited its contract with the United States Golf Association stating it’s opting out over Covid-19 concerns, meaning NBC Sports will televise the US Open and other USGA events for the remainder of Fox’s 12 year contract, which expires in 2026. NBC will televise the US Open scheduled for September at Winged Foot outside New York City. Golf Channel-also a part of NBCUniversal-announced plans today to telecast the US Men’s and Women’s Amateur in August.
