A local woman was injured in a two-vehicle rollover accident Wednesday afternoon on South Main Street.
The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 19-year old Lori Thurston of Cadiz was southbound in the right lane and attempted to turn left to park at a store. She told police she believed it was a two-way street and only looked in the other lane for northbound vehicles.
She collided with another southbound car in the left lane driven by 29-year old Dezarae Wilson of Hopkinsville, causing her automobile to overturn.
Wilson was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of neck and head pain. Thurston and her passengers declined a trip to the hospital.
