The next feature for the Hopkinsville Movies in the Park will be Dolittle, and it will take place Friday at the DeBow Recreation Complex on Thomas Street.
While they’re still encouraging people to continue utilizing the drive-in experience, Parks and Recreation Department Coordinator Toby Hudson says they will now have sectioned off areas where people can watch the movie outside of their vehicles.
He says there will also be food vendors on site for the first time this year, with Holiday Burgers and Kona Ice, and restrooms will be open for use.
Hudson says in the event of rain, the movie will move inside to the Thomas Rec Center and the movie is anticipated to start around 8:15 p.m. The next showing will be Toy Story 4 at the Walnut Street Center on July 3.
