Golf Channel reports the PGA of America had no comment on a report the Ryder Cup would not be held this year. A report from The Guardian indicated the biennial event between the best of the US and Europe to be held at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin this fall was being moved back to 2021. There’s been a lot of talk about whether the event would be played with or without fans, with many players voicing the opinion of moving it if fans are not allowed. The Guardian also reported if the event was moved to 2021 it would go back to being held in odd years as it used to be for many years.

This year’s PGA Championship will remain at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. The major championship was previously moved from mid-May to early August due to the coronavirus. The PGA of America had been considering other locations, but decided to stay put but without spectators.
