Updated: Woman flown to hospital after Bypass crash

Details have been released on a wreck from Monday morning on the Eagle Way Bypass that sent a woman to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 72-year old Carolyn McGhee of Hopkinsville was attempting to turn onto the Bypass from Tie Breaker Park and collided with an eastbound General Steele crane operated by 48-year old Norman Plummer of Hopkinsville.

McGhee was flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the extent of her injuries was unknown.

Her passengers and Plummer all refused a trip to the hospital.
