Hopkins County woman dies from COVID-19

A Hopkins County woman was one of two COVID-19 deaths announced Saturday by Governor Andy Beshear.

Kentucky gained 183 new cases of the coronavirus Saturday, bringing the total to 13,630. At least 3,530 of those cases have already recovered.

The two new deaths marks 524 since the pandemic began. Hopkins County now has 33 fatalities from the virus, with the latest death identified as a 91-year old woman.

Tennessee gained 429 new cases to 34,446 and nine additional deaths to 524. Montgomery County added five new cases to 368, Robertson County is at 701 and Stewart County remains at 17 cases.
