Three Murray State men’s basketball coaches were named to the list of top coaches at this point in the 21st century in the Ohio Valley Conference by the website BustingBrackets.com. Current coach Matt McMahon is ranked second while former coach Mick Cronin is fourth and Steve Prohm is fifth. Cronin is now at UCLA and Prohm is at Iowa State. Former Austin Peay coach Dave Loos was ranked 7th with former Belmont coach Rick Byrd ranked first.
