A pursuit of a go cart on several city streets led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man Wednesday afternoon.
Officer Jerry Marcum attempted to stop 26-year old Vontrae Lewis of Hopkinsville after seeing him headed south on South Vine on a go-cart.
An arrest citation says Lewis allegedly continued driving, running multiple stop signs, going through a yard and turning on several streets before stopping in a yard near Linn Street.
Lewis then surrendered and was placed under arrest.
He’s charged with fleeing or evading police, disregarding a stop sign, driving an ATV on the roadway and possession of marijuana.
