Recently retired Christian County coach Robert Burnham was named Tuesday as Kentucky’s wrestling Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. In addition, the Christian County staff was named the Assistant Coaching Staff of the year for Kentucky also by the NWCA. Burnham-who headed the Christian County program for many years-led the Colonels to a runner up finish in this year’s KHSAA State Tournament.
