CCHD reporting six more confirmed COVID-19 cases

The Christian County Health Department is reporting another six confirmed cases of COVID-19, bringing the county total up to 166.

That’s according to Wednesday’s update, which says that of those 166 cases, 40 of them are considered ‘active’ and 123 people have recovered from the virus.  Breaking those active cases down into age groups, there are three in the pediatric age group, 29 in the young adult to middle age grouping, eight in the older adult category and none in the elderly age group.

Christian County has seen three COVID-19 related deaths.  The health department continues to offer free testing at the Tie Breaker Park site Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
