Hopkinsville-Christian County ECC has been receiving numerous calls of fireworks being shot off in the city and they’re reminding residents of city ordinances.
Consumer fireworks can only be used in Hopkinsville between July 1 and 5 and December 31 and January 1 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12:30 a.m.
You must also be at least 200 feet away from structures, vehicles and other people.
