A Crofton man was arrested Friday by Hopkinsville police for felony theft.
An arrest citation for 45-year old Thomas Looney of Crofton stayed the night at the home of a friend who was out of town. He brought another person to stay with him and the homeowner returned to find about $2,500 worth of property missing.
Police say Looney admitted he may have taken an item, but couldn’t remember due to being under the influence at the time. He’s charged with felony theft by unlawful taking.
