Martin Truex Jr. cruised down the stretch and won his first NASCAR Cup race of the season last night in the first race under the lights at Martinsville Speedway. Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano made it a 2-3-4 finish for Team Penske.
If fans are allowed for the NASCAR races next month at Kentucky Speedway, they better not bring a Confederate flag with them. NASCAR has banned the flag for all its venues. NASCAR’s only black driver Bubba Wallace brought the issue to the forefront this week, saying there was “no place” for the Confederate flag in the sport.
