Hopkinsville police arrested a man Tuesday night on a burglary charge.
An arrest citation for 27-year old Cory Carneal of Hopkinsville says he allegedly entered a home on Henderson Drive shortly after 10 p.m. and assaulted a woman inside.
It was the second time Tuesday night officers were called to the home and Carneal had been previously told to stay away, according to the report.
He is charged with second-degree burglary.
