Hopkinsville police investigated a pair of shooting incidents early Sunday morning.
The first was in the 1000 block of Central Avenue at about 1:30 a.m., when 62-year old Larnell Cobb of Hopkinsville allegedly exited his home and fired off a shotgun, according to Sgt. Tony Sierra.
There were approximately 20 people outside in the area at the time of the shooting, according to an arrest citation.
Cobb was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and public intoxication.
Meanwhile, officers were called to North Kentucky Avenue a few minutes after 3 a.m. and found a home in the 100 block that had been struck six times by gunfire and two vehicles in front of the residence that were also hit.
It’s believed the shots were fired from a vehicle, but no description was available.
No one was injured in either shooting incident.
