Oklahoma State’s men’s basketball program has been barred from participating in the 2020-21 postseason by the NCAA for infractions committed by a former assistant coach. The Cowboys were also given three years probation and a reduction in scholarships after Lamont Evans was found to have accepted over $20,000 in bribes from financial advisers. Evans was given a 10-year show-cause order for his actions.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Friday the league was wrong for not listening to players fighting for racial equality and encouraged them to peacefully protest.
One day after 2018 NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes and several of his peers released a video demanding the league condemn racism, Goodell made his strongest statement on the issues many players passionately support.

The PGA Tour returns after three months next week and some of its biggest stars are ready to play. The 148-man field for the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial features the top five in the world – Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson. The biggest name – Tiger Woods – chose not to play. The event begins next Thursday in Fort Worth, TX without spectators.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine approved a plan yesterday for Muirfield Village
Golf Club to have fans in attendance for the Memorial next month, making it the first PGA Tour event with a crowd since the pandemic began. In a statement, the Memorial praised DeWine and his staff and said it would work with state, county and local officials to ensure that safety is upheld.
