Todd County has two new COVID-19 cases

Todd County has two additional confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Both new cases are healthy adults recovering at home with mild to moderate symptoms, according to Todd County Public Health Director Jen Harris.

Neither patient is connected to any of Todd County’s other cases and the health department has been notifying their direct contacts to quarantine for 14 days.

The new cases bring Todd County’s overall total to 24, seven of those cases are active and two of the current patients remain hospitalized.

Harris says the two new cases are a reminder to not let up on good hygiene, especially when you are in public or at work.
