Hopkinsville police are investigating a shots fired incident from Wednesday night on East 18th Street.
A man told officers that unknown suspects fired multiple shots into his vehicle while he was driving on 18th near McKee Street just before 11 p.m, according to Sgt. Martin Lopez.
The man avoided injury and told police he did not know where the shots came from. Officers were able to recover shell casings in the area.
