A process is now in place for those desiring a driver’s permit to take the written test, but they will have to take it in Madisonville.
Christian Circuit Court Clerk Paige Parker says you’ll need to come to the Christian County Justice Center first to get a test card that allows you to make an appointment to test in Madisonville.
She expects the written test to return to Christian County as soon as next month—when the driving test is expected to resume.
The Madisonville testing office on Industrial Road is servicing approximately 10 counties in the region, including Todd and Trigg.
