NBA to vote on plan to restart today

The NBA is expected to approve today a proposal for the season to restart in late July with 22 teams playing in the Orlando area with no fans. The format includes the Memphis Grizzlies. Reports indicate the plan has 13 Western Conference teams and nine Eastern, eight regular-season games and a probable play-in tourney for the eighth seed. The top 16 teams will be joined by Phoenix, San Antonio, Portland, Sacramento, New Orleans and Washington, all within six games of eighth place in the two conferences. Players will work out at team facilities before reporting next month to Florida for full training camps.
