Former University of Tennessee and Pittsburgh head coach Johnny Majors has passed away at age 85. Majors began his head coaching career at Iowa State in 1968, then moved to Pittsburgh where he led the Panthers to an undefeated season in 1976 and a national championship. He came to UT in 1977 and led the Vols to a 116-62 and 8 record. He also played for the Vols from 1953-1956 and was a two time SEC Player of the Year.
