Kentucky’s women’s basketball program has landed another transfer. Reports indicate Olivia Owens announced on social media Monday her intentions to come to Lexington from the University of Maryland. The New York native had placed her name in the NCAA transfer portal in March. Owens, a 6-foot-4 center, appeared in 16 games as a freshman during the 2018-19 season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds. She chose to redshirt during the 2019-20 season after missing the first couple of months with mononucleosis.
