Governor Andy Beshear announced 155 new cases of COVID-19 from Monday to Tuesday, bringing the overall total to 10,185. Another three Kentuckians died, including a 92-year old man from Muhlenberg County, meaning 442 people have died in the commonwealth since the pandemic began.
Even though numbers had been higher for three of the last four days, the governor says it’s still possible some of those spikes were from testing in prisons and long-term care facilities and that averages will eventually show Kentucky still in a plateau or decline.
At least 3,275 Kentuckians have recovered from COVID-19 and at least 253,585 people have been tested.
